Party Time!

Well it was an only matter of time before the fish got on the move out of the beach and headed for Tea Party.

Straight into the action was Danny Boreham fishing in Tea party 2 out to the far bank at 21 wraps. Baiting consistently every hour ringing that dinner bell was top angling for Dan giving him multiple bites every day. pick of the bunch being 4 Scale at 49lb 9ozMissing link at 49lb and not to mention 31 more fish landed up to 33lb to back his week up!!!. Dan carved it up feeding Mix particle and boilie chops all week with IQ-D Rigs being the rig of choice with a single grain of Slow sinking maize.

Well is was pleasure giving Liam Maskell a confidence boost over in Turtles when in he picked out ball one for the first time in a draw. Liam was  doubting himself fishing out at the 21 wraps spot to the dot island not being sure on being accurate with his baiting, well that soon changed after a little talk with him it didn’t take him long after having  3 rods on the spot he was away into has first bite of the session and resulted in a new PB for Liam with Ron’s Common at 37lb9oz and that’s what it’s all about mate never doubt yourself. Liam finished of the week with 5 bites them falling to heavily glugged Atlantic heat boilies with Mixed particle on D-Rigs Slow Sinking Maize.

It was start that no one wanted for Jonny Coles in the poowhen he came to me on the breakfast run Sunday morning telling me he didn’t feel right suffering with a throat infection. Well a short trip for me and Jonny to Troyes hospital we soon got the all clear and it was time to get on with the session, Jonny fancied a move from the poo over to the The Birches for a fresh start to the week. With the spod rod wrapped up to the 18 wrap spot towards billys feeding boilie crum and Maize a few days went by an Jonny manage to land Wilson at 35lb 6oz. he finished out the week with 3 fish using Slip D-rig with wafters.

Mathew Goodenough fancied a relaxing week on his own down  in Billys. Giving the swim still not doing a bite this year he had his work cut out but that didn’t stop Matt swapping and changing from a zig in the day back to on the deck at night really working it he did manage to land 3 fish up to mid 20 and one really nice one that he got to name Mr Chase at 19lb. Matt took himself over to the Poo for his last night for a social with his mate and his session came to an end with no more bites. Matt fished the 17.5 wrap marginspot to his right feeding Mix particle consistently everyday with spinner rigs with yellow 12mm pop ups.

With the fish moved out of the beach finally it wasn’t going to be as easy this week for Jack Mccarthy fishing to the 3 tits at 21 wraps but that didn’t get him down he plugged a away all week catching his 4th stockies when he rang me to say I think ive got a better one Joe and it was his new PB The Arapaima at 36lb 8oz. jacked rounded out the week with 6 fish feeding boilie hole chop and crum mixed up with maize spinners on 12mm yellow pop ups.

Challenging  Week for Lewis in Shingles watching his 2 mates catch consistently all week in The Beach and Tea Party 2 but he kept his head up even though he didn’t manage to get amongst them his good mate Dan letting him have his swim for the last night ended up with Lewis landing 6 fish in 3 hours up to 33lb using Spinners with pop up Maize how about that for a blank saver.

54 fish landed for the week on the road lake with the sun finally being a little more consistent it won’t be long before the old sun cream will be making an appearance, but for now all the best lads was a pleasure having use this week.

Joe.
