Vision!!
Well, it’s been a bit of a mental week on the road lake the week with nearly all of the lads catching. The bigger ones were defiantly on the feed. And it was a bit of a red-letter week for one of the lads!
We will start off with Dave Garner, Dave started his week of with a bit of luck putting his hand in the draw bag and pulling out ball No1! He headed straight to Tea Party 2after hearing of the 30 fish haul from the week previous. With a bit of advice from the bailiffs he was soon to cast his rods out to the 21 wrap spot to the far margin and it wasn't long before his rod was away with his first fish "The Jewel" at 54lb 4oz. Dave went on to catch some awesome fish throughout his week, fish known as "The Reincarnated" at 67lb, "The Wedge" at 55lb 8oz, "Errol" at 51lb "Charlie" at 50lb 4oz, Just to name a few. Dave ended his week on a staggering 46 fish haul, feeding maize and boilie with consistent and accurate spombing. Spinners with a single piece of fake I.B maize got him his bites.
Then we have old BOYO (Rob Burrows) in Bachiliars. Rob also had a bit of a red letter week not as many fish but he had a brace of 40s one morning and a brace of 50s another morning with others in between. He had “A-Star” at 57lb 4oz, “Brocken Tail” at 57lb and “Mysterio” at 52lb 4oz. Rob caught from three different spots in his swim but they all came from the margin’s! A 9 wrap spot and a 21 wrap to his left hand margin and a 28.5 wrap spot to the far margin. All fell to solid bags with fake maize, Feeding maize and boilie.
Balazs Patta fished in Shingles for the week and manged to land two fish and one being a new P.B a fish known as “The Traveller” at 50lb 2oz. Balazs was fishing 16wraps straight out infront feeding boilie and mixed maize and hemp. Spinners with 15mm yellow pop ups over the top got him his fish.
Danny Armitage had a bit of a slow week in Beach, with the fish all stacked up in T2 he done his best to make a few bites happen in his swim and it did pay off! He managed three fish and one being the stunning “Darky” at 47lb 8oz. Danny was fishing Combi Rigs over mixed maize, hemp and boilie.
It looked like a bit of warmer weather turned them on and hopfully it continues, but before you know it we will be talking about spawning. But still we have a few more good weeks of where there on the feed.
Until Next Time
