ALL ABOUT THE BEACH!!

We will start off with Steve Ball, of course Steve picked out ball one and the place he was heading was straight to the beach. On the first morning Steve had a take but unfortunately lost it after a few seconds, he got the rod straight back on the spot 30 minutes later he then landed his first fish at 15lb 2oz. Shortly after Steve went from a mid-double straight to one of the most sort after carp, Hanson at 67lb 4oz. Action didn’t stop there for Steve he went on to catch a further 11 fish including 3 40lb + carp, Norfolk common, Raspberry and Samo. Steve was fishing 21 wrapsstraight out at the favoured 3 tits, feeding maize and hemp frequently through out each day fishing spinners with Gigantica p-isotonic specials 12mm pop ups.

Next up we have Brad Norton fishing long out of Bachiliers at 28.5 wraps to the bottom of the far margin shelf. Brad started his week with a flurry of stockies landing one every morning until Wednesday when I wake up to a message of him saying I’ve got a real big un in the net. We were straight round there to reveal a new 60lb for the road lake in the name off BIG SHACK!!!, a new pb for brad and well deserved, Brad then finished the week with a further 5 20lb + fish ending with a mid 30 Friday to round of his trip. All Brads’ fish fell to spinners with yellow pop ups feeding maize and hemp.

Steve in Tea party 2 managed 2 fish for his week the better one being 32lb. Steve was fishing at 21 wraps over to the far margin with spinners over hemp and maize with crumbed up boilie.

Steve Middleton coming out 3rd in the draw was jumping at the chance to get into one of the flyers Turtles Corner. Steve started off with the go hard or go home attitude with the baiting spombing out 20kg at 21 wraps at the Dot Island, unfortunately for Steve it taken till Thursday for the fish to move in on him but finally he manage to net 3 carp to 32lb before having to leave a night early.

Slow week for the road this week, massive difference in angling pressure with it being the first week back to full 12 anglers.

Tight lines and all the best

Joe.
