Week Commencing: Sat 26/09/2015
First off this week we had Andy who decided on Decoy. A Swim, which has shown terrific from of late and this week was no exception. For the week Andy managed an impressive sixteen fish haul. Including the queen of the pond The Wright Fish at a massive weight of 51lb 8oz and she keeps on getting bigger. Also to his name Andy managed to bank the ever-impressive Rose Bud at 45lb 8oz another fish destined for a big weight in the future. Along with this he also managed a further 5x30’s to 36lb that kept him busy. Andy introduced 5kg of Krill boilies each day using a Spomb or throwing stick, rig wise Andy used IQ D rigs along with wafter hook baits and fished all three rods into open water at 20RL.
Over in Turtles this week we had Sean and for the week Sean managed to land eight fish. The best being a common weighing 41lb 5oz. Fishing all three rods at 21RL towards Tea Party 1. Sean baited up with around three to four kilo of Krill boilies per day spread across all three rods. Snowman style hook baits doing the business.
Fishing in The Cage this week we had Dale. Dale managed five fish for the best a 30lb common. Dale baited up with four kilo of Spicy Active boilies per day over all three rods and fished IQ D Rigs and Spicy Active Wafters over the top.
Matty decided on Dunkerque this week had seven fish for the week the best a 37lb mirror, fishing at 18RL and spreading two kilo of boilies and pellets across all three rods at 15RL.
Fishing in Shingles this week we had Gavin where for the week Gavin managed four fish including a brace of mid 30lb commons the biggest being 38lb 2oz and the other 36lb 4oz. For the week Gavin introduced 3kg of chopped and whole boilies with the aid of a throwing stick. Rig wise simple Knotless knot Hair rigs with a 12mm wafter was all that was needed.
A rather Autumn feel in the air this week, a time we as carp anglers love as the fish are in top condition and on the munch.
See you all soon.
